A Class 3A State volleyball tournament semifinal round loss by Nevada to Solon on Thursday means all the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference teams have completed their 2014 seasons and all-conference selections can be released. Greene County finished tied for third place in the Conference at six wins and three losses behind conference champion Nevada and runner-up Roland-Story (Story City).
Ram senior Mollie Sorber was named to the all-conference first team while fellow seniors Marissa Promes and Stacy Mears were both second team all-conference selections. Emma Saddoris and Bailey Godwin, both seniors, were on the honorable mention list. Donna Carhill is the head coach of the Rams.
