A deputy was unable to locate two dogs that were reported running at large in the 1100 block of State Street in Scranton.

A deputy was advised by a Churdan resident of a phone scam that he received regarding the IRS requesting money. He called the IRS and they assured him that any correspondence from the IRS will be by mail only and not by phone.

A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Hill Street in Churdan to investigate the theft of a motorcycle from a garage at the residence.

A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of West Paton Street in Paton to locate the owner of two dogs running at large and dragging trash from receptacles. The owner was determined and advised that citations would be issued if the dogs are allowed to run free.

A deputy and a Jefferson Police Officer located a distraught male at a residence in Jefferson that was reported to be suicidal. The mother of the male was present and assured the officers she would watch her son.

Friday, November 14th

A deputy while on routine patrol, checked a suspicious vehicle at Rueter’s Red Power in Grand Junction. The deputy spoke with the driver and determined he was on a service call and was leaving the parking lot.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
