Time is running out to get entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate during Jefferson Matters: Main Street promotion committee’s “Think Local/Shop Local” campaign.
Committee Chair Deb McGinn says their event started in early October and they are encouraging everyone to visit the downtown area businesses by filling out a punch card for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.
“All we really want you to do is go in and experience what they have, just see what they have in the stores. It’s more just trying to get people to just walk in through the door. A lot of people have never gone into these stores and so that’s what we’re encouraging them to do.”
She adds that you don’t have to buy anything, just go in and have them sign your card and once it’s completely filled out, submit it to the Printer’s Box by Friday, November 14th to be eligible for the drawing to win a $100 gift certificate.
Punch cards are available at the Printer’s Box, Homestead Coffee and Bakery and Greene Bean Coffee.
The drawing for the gift certificate will be on Friday with the winner announced the following day.
