Motorists all around the Raccoon River Valley remembered what it’s like to drive to work on school on slick, snowy roads yesterday, and Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says that you really need to have an emergency care package in your car, now, “You need to inventory for emergency situations, and make sure you have a shovel, blanket, snacks, have jumper cables, make sure you always have a full tank of gas.”

The Sheriff says slowing down on slick roads is the number one key to avoiding ending up in the ditch this winter.
