Greene County RamsThe public is invited to the Greene County High School this weekend for the high school’s fall production of “The Music Man”.

Director David Heupel says he’s always wanted to do this musical since it’s set in Iowa and written by an Iowan.  However, he’s had to wait until he felt he had the right people to fit the leading roles which he believes he has the students to make it possible this year.

Leading roles like Professor Harold Hill is played by Parker Willis and Marian Paroo will be played by Victoria Sims.  Other parts include Eulalie Mackeknie Shinn as played by Annie Palmer, Hannah Promes is Mrs. Paroo, Winthrop Paroo will be played by Danielle Graves, Jacob Wittry is Marcellus Washburn and the school board and barbershop quartet are played by Jarrett Delp, Michael Kennedy, David Petersen and Noah Eberle.  There will also be chorus members and other stage crews.

It will be at the high school auditorium in Jefferson on Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th at 7:30pm and on Sunday, November 9th at 2pm.  Tickets are available now at People’s Trust and Savings Bank, Home State Bank and at the high school office.
