Today is Election Day and all Greene County voters are reminded about their polling locations.
The Central Precinct’s location is at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds. The polling location for the East Precinct is at St. Brigid’s Parish Center in Grand Junction. Those in the West Precinct must report to the Scranton City Hall and voters in the North Precinct are to go to the community center in Churdan.
Jefferson has three polling places for its three precincts. All those in the first precinct are to vote in the south rotunda of the Greene County Courthouse, the second precinct’s polling location is at the Trinity Lutheran Church and the third precinct’s location is at the Greene County Community Center.
Greene County Auditor Jane Heun says with the exception of the City of Churdan, all other voters will vote on their respective Local Option Sales and Service Tax referendum. The City of Paton will also need to vote on the Mayor’s and a City Council member’s seats.
All polls will be open from 7am-9pm today.
