The actual Iditarod is nearly three thousand miles away in Alaska. With temperatures hovering around the high thirties and holes aptly named Yuhkondoit (Yukon-DO-it), and Anchorage (ank-OR-edge), the 13th annual Iditarod golf tournament at LPN this Saturday may feel just as long as the real endurance race. One of the most unique golf tournaments in the State, the Iditarod uses a modified design of the LPN course maximized for fun, including the number five Rohdkhel (rode-KIL) hole, where golfers hit their balls over a road and traffic.
