The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is preparing for their “Light Up the Holidays” open house.
Taking place on Friday from 5-7pm the event invites everyone to come check out the many shopping options they have available in town.
Participating chamber businesses, civic organizations and churches will be handing out recipe cards and samples throughout the event.
Business owners will also be decorating their storefronts for the 10th Annual Holiday Decorating Contest with prizes and bragging rights being awarded to the winners. Attendees are encouraged to bring their spare change to use as votes for their favorite display and all money collected will go to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.
Instead of a parade this year, participating businesses will have luminaries displayed outside during the event to help light the way.
