If you’ve requested an absentee ballot from your local auditor’s office, time is running out to send them back in.

The Dallas County Auditor’s office will be open special hours this weekend so that voters can cast an absentee ballot, ahead of Tuesday’s general election.

If you haven’t yet voted, you’re welcome to stop by the Auditor’s office in Adel Saturday between 8am and 5pm.

Same day registration will be available at the polls on Tuesday, though it may take longer to so and you will need to bring additional identification.
