Four months after Greene County Medical Center decided to terminate its lease agreement with McFarland Clinic, the Ames-based organization has found a new location.

McFarland Clinic officials say their new location will be adjacent to the new Hy-Vee, Incorporated that is currently being constructed on West Washington Street in Jefferson.

McFarland Clinic has been serving Jefferson for 20 years.  They have 12 clinical offices in Iowa and they provide additional physicians to visit other patients in other communities as well.

The public is invited to a “Community Celebration Breakfast” on Friday, November 7th at 7:15am at the Greene County Community Center.  During the event, representatives with Hy-Vee and McFarland will be on-hand with updates and share artist renderings about what their respective facilities will look like.
