The Bock Family Foundation has announce the recipients of their fall 2014 grants.
A total of $70,148 in funds was awarded to 26 different projects in Dallas County.
Among them are a $7,500 grant to the First United Methodist Church in Perry for the installation of inside lighting, $7,000 to the PACES program in the Perry school district, $5,000 to the City of Perry for the development of 16 acres for a soccer field, storm water retention and recreational trail loop and $2,500 to the Dallas County Hospital Foundation to support the purchase of a state-of-the-art telemetry system at the hospital.
The foundation awards grants in the spring and fall to nonprofit supporting organizations that operate for religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes. The next deadline to apply for a grant is March 1st.
