There’s still plenty of time to vote early for the November 4th general election.

Guthrie County Auditor Jerri Christman says people can vote by absentee ballot now at her office.

She states that those who want to vote early can come to her office between 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday until the end of the day on Monday, November 3rd.  However, those that want to have an absentee ballot mailed to them, must print and fill out a request form first, mail it to the auditor’s office and then an absentee ballot will be mailed to you.

Christman points out that all request for absentee ballots must be postmarked by November 1st and all mail-in absentees must be postmarked by November 3rd.

Requests for an absentee ballot cannot be done by phone, it must be done through the mail.

Regular polls will be open from 7am-9pm on Tuesday, November 4th.
