The Perry Cultural District group is now calling themselves Perry Cultural Connections, but the mission of cross promotion and building the community remains the same.

Chair Pat Snyder says this new name will hopefully help better identify the group’s goal.

“It was kind of confusing people as to what it was, so we really wanted a place for people to connect together so that’s kind of where the connection element came from.  It’s kind of like an internet web but it’s a group of people that are doing the connecting and getting the word out” says Snyder.

Though the group is in its infant stages right now, Snyder says everyone who attends the meetings has a common goal of bettering the community and bringing people to town.
