Halloween is coming up shortly and there are plenty of festivities planned in Perry on Thursday, October 30th.
Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson says he loves that the community comes together to host all of the Halloween events together on one evening. He says it’s great for parents because kids can get things all done in one night, you only have to get them dressed in costumes once and everyone really supports the children.
It starts with Spooktacular, hosted by the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce from 4-6pm in the downtown business district, followed by the Safe and Healthy Halloween event at the Dallas County Hospital from 5-6:30pm and the city wide trick or treat event is scheduled from 6-8pm.
