The Dallas County Hospital Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting late last week.
At the meeting it was announced that the hospital received the Annual Critical Access Hospital and Quality Improvement Evaluation from the Mercy Health Network and completed the Critical Access Hospital annual report.
Dallas County Hospital was also one of 19 hospitals in the nation recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Washington DC Federal Partnership for Patients Initiative for scoring extremely well on the Hospital Engagement Network project indicators. DCH was commended for incorporating safety across the board into day-to-day activities and establishing a high degree of leadership and medical staff involvement.
The Trustees also heard about this semester’s DMACC health occupations class which meets at the hospital and includes 30 students from Perry, Madrid, ADM and Panorama.
The Board’s next meeting takes place on October 23rd.
