Tonight is the big homecoming game for the Panorama Panthers as they host Woodward-Granger.
There are also several other homecoming related activities going on today and tomorrow.
Today is school spirit day with students and staff showing off their school colors and school pride. Student Council Vice-President Ethan Laughery says that the student council will host a cookout and serve lunch to all the students followed by an all-school pep assembly at 3:05pm.
Then right before the football game will be the presentation of the homecoming court including the Marcus Boldy as king and Katie Nelson as queen and during halftime will be the winners of the homecoming activities from throughout the week.
On Saturday will be the homecoming dance in the high school cafeteria. Laughery explains why they chose to have the dance in the cafeteria area again this year.
“And people liked it in there because we’ve had it in the gym in the past but its too dark and we’ve had it in the atrium and its too big. And so everyone really liked the cafeteria last year and everyone just pays $3 and its always really, really fun.”
The dance will be from 8-11pm on Saturday with a $3 per person admission fee.
