A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a dog in the 300 block of T Avenue.
A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Head Street in Churdan to try and locate a reported pit bull dog running at large. The dog was not captured at that time.
A deputy and the Paton Fire Department responded to a farm tractor fire between 150th and 140th Street on T Avenue. The 2013 Versatile 375 4-wheel drive tractor that is owned by Neese Incorporated of Grand Junction was being driven by Larry Joy JR of Jefferson. Damage to the tractor was estimated to be $100,000.
A deputy was advised that a vehicle experiencing mechanical problems at 240th Street and W Avenue would be removed on Friday.
The animal control officer and a deputy checked a dog in the 600 block of Dudley Street in Churdan to determine if the dog was a pit bull. It was determined that the dog was not a pit bull.
A deputy investigated a reported verbal altercation in the 600 block of Dudley Street in Churdan. All parties involved were spoken to about the altercation.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
