Greene County is among the 30 or so schools set to participate in today’s Panorama (Panora) coed cross-country invitational on the par 3 golf course west of Panora. The Rams are ranked sixth among Class 2A girls’ teams by the Iowa Track Coaches Association and the Panorama girls are ranked 8th in 1A.

Other schools scheduled to take part are Adair-Casey, ADM, Audubon, Ballard (Huxley), Boyer Valley (Dunlap), CAM (Anita), Carlisle, CMB (Maxwell), Colo-NESCO, Des Moines Christian, Earlham, Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton, Grandview Christian (Des Moines), Guthrie Center, IKM-Manning, Logan-Magnolia, Mount Ayr, Nodaway Valley (Greenfield), Ogden, Orient-Macksburg, Paton-Churdan, Perry, Tri-Center (Neola), Van Meter, West Central Valley (Stuart), Woodbine, Woodward Academy, and Woodward-Granger.

There will be middle school and high school races for girls and boys with a starting time of 4:30 p.m.
