The ADM girls volleyball team is back in action for the first time in nine days, as they’ll host Boone tonight in Adel at 7 p.m.
The tigers last played on September 9, when they beat the Perry Blue Jays in straight sets at home. They bring a 14-5 record into tonight’s match, when they’ll look to extend their winning streak to three games and move to 2-0 in conference play.
Adm has won 30 of 43 sets overall and is riding a streak of five consecutive sets won. The tigers feature four players with at least 50 kills; senior Kari Dufoe leads the way with 118. Fellow senior Maddie Mikkelsen has a team-high 23 aces, while setter Marisa felt, also a senior, paces the Tigers with a whopping 255 assists.
Junior Tania Telford has done a good job keeping plays alive, as she leads the team with 107 digs. Up front, seniors Abby Merschman and Kenzi Sutton lead the way with 20 blocks a piece.
