Funeral services for Neil A. Hight, age 87, of Scranton will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Scranton.  Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday.  The casket will be moved to the church at 8:30 A.M. on Wednesday where visitation will resume until the time of service.  Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery with military honors by the Iowa National Guard.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton and online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com

Neil is survived by a son Daniel Hight of Omaha, NE; two daughters: Janet Hendricks and her husband Dennis of Bagley, IA, and Rebecca  Hight – Moravec and her husband Ron of Lincoln, NE; six granddaughters; several great grandchildren; a sister Darie Heck of Littleton, CO; two brothers: Merle “Curly” Hight and his wife Sylvia of Denison, IA, and Al Hight and his wife Miriam of Lake City, IA; and many nieces and nephews ; and many dear friends.
