The Perry football team will host North Polk tonight in a 7:30 kickoff at Dewey Field.  Both teams will be looking to bounce back from week one losses.  Perry fell to ADM while North Polk was blown out by Bondurant Farrar.

“I know if you go by the numbers, historically North Polk has had some very good teams.  They ran into a very tough Bondurant team last Friday night,” added Perry Head Coach Jason Olejniczak.

Perry will look to clean up some of the week one mistakes, especially on special teams.  The Bluejays fumbled two kickoffs and finished with 4 turnovers on the night.

“Those are all issues that we addressed this week in practice.  Simply to try and clean up those areas, especially on special teams.  We have had some kids work really hard and earn their spot on to the special teams packages.”
