The West Central Valley Wildcats host a cross-country meet at 4:30 p.m. today at the 5 x 80 Golf Course south of Menlo. A number of area schools will have both girls and boys running on the golf course including the Greene County Rams. Greene County was to have run on Sept. 2 in Grimes at the Dallas Center-Grimes meet, but that was called off due to wet course conditions.

Greene County Activities Director Dean Lansman informed Raccoon Valley Radio about the Greene County teams getting into the WCV meet as a late addition.

After today, the next meet for the Rams is their own invitational on the high school grounds in Jefferson on Thursday, Sept. 11.
