Woodworking projects enable 4-H’ers to learn to master several skills such as basic techniques in measuring and how to use a variety of tools and different types of wood.
The Guthrie County 4-H’ers were part of more than 200 woodworking entries at this year’s Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.
The following exhibitors earned blue ribbons: Hunter Vasey and Matthew Vannatta, both of Guthrie Center and Clayton Morgan of Coon Rapids.
