Tori’s Angels out of Panora began in 2010 because of a little girl named Tori that needed open heart surgery and the family had exhausted all their funds.
Bill Ridgley and group stepped in to make sure that she got the care she needed at Boston children’s hospital. Tori has since had six open heart surgeries and is now 9 years old.
Tori’s Angels Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization and covered expenses for accepted children include travel, meals, transportation, lodging and co-pays.
Bill Ridgley of Tori’s Angels Foundation, states what he would like everyone to know, “The most important thing that we are trying to communicate at our fundraisers is that we exist, we are here to help other families that have a child with life threatening medical conditions. We are still taking applications.”
On September 21st they will have a Family Fun Fair in Winterset behind the Catholic Church and will feature Batman, plenty of food, carnival-type games, and lots of fun for everyone.
