We have more Guthrie County 4-H results from the Iowa State Fair.
The largest class with over 5,000 members annually is the agriculture and natural resources categories that were recently judged at the 4-H Exhibits building on the State fairgrounds in Des Moines.
There were over 300 entries in eight different classes including Animal and Veterinary Science, Crop Production, Environment and Sustainability, Horticulture, Outdoor Adventures and Safety/Education in Shooting Sports.
Guthrie County 4-H’ers that received blue ribbons were Danielle Schwartz of Bayard for an Outdoor Adventures exhibit and Kael Rutledge of Panora in the area of Environment and Sustainability.
