Tonight’s final Friday Fest of the Summer in Perry has been cancelled due to wet weather conditions.

Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson decided to call off the Friday Fest due to inclement weather.  It was suppose to be at the Pattee Park tonight at 6pm with the Dallas County Hospital celebrating its 60th anniversary in partnership with the Perry Chamber.

Friday Fests started in June with the Hispanics United for Perry and the Chamber teaming up in celebration like the popular Latino Festival that is put on in the fall.  In July, the Chamber partnered with a local music group, the Josh Davis Band.

Tonight’s rained out event will be not rescheduled.
