The Perry City Council will meet in regular session this evening.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing in regards to voluntary annexation of property and consideration of a resolution supporting an application and option for Newbury Living to purchase property at the old middle school site.
The Council will also consider a change order, pay request and final acceptance of the McCreary Community Building parking lot rehabilitation project and a change order for the 28th Street construction project, authorize the city administrator to sign and accept a safety enhancement grant and approve an application for an Iowa DNR Rural Energy for America Program grant.
A grant application for Traffic Safety Improvement Program funds will also be considered, a public hearing will be set to dispose of public property, the Council will consider disposing of unused and outdated equipment and there will be an appointment to the Perry Library Board of Trustees.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
