Greene County Medical Center has hired a new cataract surgeon.

Dr. Ryan Vincent will perform cataract surgeries at the hospital on a monthly basis.  Dr. Vincent received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Colorado and Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Denver, Colorado.  He also completed his residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine where he was the chief resident.

He received his fellowship training as a glaucoma subspecialist at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

The published cataract surgeon works at the Ames Wolfe Eye Clinic and will travel to Jefferson on a regular basis.
