Progress continues to be made on the P48 and P59 construction projects in Dallas County.
According to the latest update from the County Engineer’s Office, Peterson Contractors have completed the removal of the old pavement on the Raccoon River Bridge to Dexter. As a result, residents south of the river will have access to their homes through Dexter from now on.
The next step is removing pavement at the intersection of F-61 or 328th Place and P48, while moving from the bridge to 320th Street over the next few days. Residents living north of 320th Street will have access early this week from Redfield on F-59.
Official detour routes are F-60 from Dexter to Redfield and F-59 from the Dallas/Guthrie County line west to P-58 and the P-28 south to Stuart.
