With the calendar flipping over to August that means the college football season is nearly here for former Perry linebacker Kane Seeley, as he gears up for the Iowa State season opener on August 30th, taking on two-time defending FCS Champion North Dakota State.

“We got our very first game against North Dakota State that’s what we are focused on right now, that’s what we’re worried about. They got a good team coming off a successful year. We’ll be ready to go once that rolls around in August. They are a very physical team, you know they’re a very good team, even if they’re at the lower level whatever FCS that doesn’t matter you know they’re a very tough team, they’re going to be ready to play us at Jack Trice when that rolls around.”

Once again you can listen to all the Iowa State Football games this year beginning with the Bison and the Cyclones, Saturday August 30.

That’s an 11am kick at Jack Trice Stadium, catch all the play-by-play with John Walters and company on AM 1310 KDLS.
