With school starting back up in just a couple weeks, students and parents are busy picking up the necessary supplies for the year.
When doing so, Perry Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson reminds residents to think Perry first.
“There’s some great stores, some great sales, there’s an awesome selection of amenities. School supplies are not cheap but if you shop local, these stores that you support are going to support the school, their going to support your children, through other ways with programming of special events to maybe there’s little league teams etc. So the more money you put here the more money you’re going to see into the local economy” says Wilson.
We’ll have more with Wilson in this week’s Chamber Chat on Let’s Talk Dallas County during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on AM 1310 KDLS.
