The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn baseball season might be over, but now is when the postseason recognitions are made.

There were six ADM players selected for all Raccoon River Conference.

Head coach Jason Book says senior shortstop Grant Goeden made it on the first team all-conference as an infielder and junior Sam Kornstad was the other first-team selection as a pitcher.

He talks about his senior speedster Goeden and his first-team recognition for a second straight year.

“Not doubt that he was going to be on there.  The way he played and what he did this year, just a testament to the hard work that he put in to make sure that he could get back and even play the field this season.  So a proud accomplishment for him.”

Two Tigers were chosen for second team all-conference with senior outfielder Robby Sloss and junior Ethan Herron as a utility player.

Seniors Logan Essy and Jackson VerWoert received honorable mention recognition.

Book comments that this year’s all-conference selections were tough but he’s happy with the ADM players who made it on their respective teams and congratulates them on their dedication to the 2014 season.
