The ADM baseball team lost to Creston 5-4 in a nonconference matchup on the road last night. The Tigers are now 19-11 heading into tonight’s highly anticipated conference showdown with Winterset.
Jason Book’s club had a chance to tie things up late last night, but Logan Essy grounded back to the pitcher to end the ballgame. ADM had scored four runs in the top of the seventh just to give themselves a chance to tie it with Essy at the plate.
Ethan Herron will start tonight’s ballgame against Winterset, but he’s expected to only throw the first two or three innings for ADM. A win tonight and the Tigers clinch at least a share of the Raccoon River Conference crown.
It’s senior night in Adel this evening, and we’ll be there for first pitch at 7:30. Pregame begins at 7:15 on K107.
