Following a successful information-gathering session, another Greene County Marketing Plan meeting will be held tonight.

Economic Development Director Ken Paxton says their first meeting was held on June 23rd where 40 participants discussed the County’s strengths and weaknesses and identified potential target groups to attract to come to the County.

He talks about what tonight’s meeting will cover.

“This meeting we are going to start honing in.  We’re going to start to focus in on really specifically what segments do we want to attract, by age group, by occupation, by type of interest.  Who do we actually want to go after.”

The ultimate goal, Paxton adds, is to get as much information as possible to put together a marketing plan to showcase at the start of next year.

Tonight’s meeting is open to the public and begins at 6pm at the Sierra Community Theatre.
