We are now less than three weeks away from the always anticipated Panorama Days Celebration in Panora.
Many different activities will be ongoing in the town over the weekend of August 1st through the 3rd, and one such event has opened up its registration window.
Sponsored by the Panora Chamber of Commerce, Guthrie County Hospital and Fitness Sports, the Dr. David Wang Memorial 5k will be held at 7pm on Friday evening, August 1st, and early registration is due by July 25th. The cost to participate is $20 if sign-ups are completed by the 25th or $25 if participants register after that date.
The run will begin in Michael Mills Memorial Park, which is about three miles south of the Casey’s General Store in Panora. City streets and the Raccoon River Valley Trail will be utilized for the running route.
Checks for registration should be made out to the Panorama Days Committee, and mailed Panora’s P.O. Box #9.
Anyone with questions about the event can call Heather Thompson at 641-757-9315.
