The Greene County Chamber is sponsoring a major event on the last day of the Greene County Fair.
Director Chris Henning says several representatives will be at the fair serving up a free breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage and beverages from 7-8:30am on Monday, July 14th.
She points out that they are steadily busy the entire time and is really excited about the junior premium auction following the breakfast because they also help to sponsor several 4-H’ers at that event. Henning talks about what they did last year and how nice it is to be able to support area youth.
“We were successful bidders for several premiums; I’m thinking 10 or 12 kids. That’s a community project who are supporting other kids 4-H projects as well. So, it’s a great, fun time.”
The premium auction starts at 8:30am.
