We heard from Scott Frederickson of the Yale Community Club yesterday as he rolled through his town’s schedule of events for their annual 4th of July Celebration.
It’s an event that Frederickson himself has helped put together for more than two decades now, so he’s seen some changes through the years. Most of the changes though have been good ones, and today Frederickson discusses why he believes Yale’s annual celebration continues to experience growth year after year.
“People are looking for some place to go on the 4th, and (in Yale) they can come and go from town as they want and whenever they come back, there is some activity they can participate in. The town is safe, you can bring the kids–they just kind of roam around and do their thing. It’s just a great family atmosphere… we have something for everybody.”
Frederickson says the growth of Yale’s 4th of July Celebration has been exciting to witness first-hand because of his deep ties to the town.
“It’s home, it’s friendly… it’s just a good place to live. It’s like living in the country but having some small town things going on, so it’s all good.”
There will certainly be “things going on” in Yale over the 4th of July weekend. Find the full schedule of events by CLICKING HERE.
