The ADM softball team continued its streak of stellar play last night, throttling visiting Carroll 11-0 in just five innings.
The Tigers have now won 10 of their last 11 and have actually gotten their conference record all the way back to .500 at 5-5 overall.
Molly Jacobsen was her typical ace self in the pitcher’s circle for ADM last night. She threw all five innings, allowed just one hit and struck out nine.
Jacobsen also got plenty of run support last night. The Tiger bats came alive in the fourth inning especially when they put up an eight spot.
Kenzi Sutton and Montanna Popp both had multi-hit games and two RBIs apiece for Rick Dillinger’s club. One of Popp’s hits was a solo homer in the fourth inning. She now has two dingers on the season.
The Tigers are back in action this evening as they look to continue on this recent hot streak. Bondurant-Farrar visits Adel with first-pitch scheduled for 7:30 on K107.
