Community members in the Perry area are invited to participate in a mob tonight.

No, we’re not talking about one that’s disorderly or causing trouble… this kind of mob is beneficial both socially and economically.

Raccoon Valley Bank hosts the first local Cash Mob tonight.  Everyone is invited to the bank at 5pm to socialize and enjoy some drinks and light hors d’oeuvres and a chance to step into the Raccoon Valley Radio cash machine.

Then at 5:30 the group will travel to a local business to mob them by spending money.

Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says he’s thrilled a private business has stepped up and organized this and it’s a great way to be social while shopping local.

The business that will be mobbed will be announced this afternoon.
