The City of Jefferson is once again offering its free brush chipping service to residents next week.
It is for any resident that wants to get rid of any tree branches or brush and have it picked up by the City for free may do so anytime from Monday, June 23rd through Thursday, June 26th.
Residents are reminded to have their brush stacked in arm piles and have their cut ends facing the curb to make it easier for the City crews to chip it. The brush pick up may not necessarily happen on your normal garbage pickup day and weather will also be a factor for collection.
Whole trees will not be accepted for chipping.
The next brush chipping service will be at the end of July.
Anyone with questions can call City Hall at 386-3111.
