The entry deadline into the Guthrie County 4-H Clothing Event Day is right around the corner.

The Guthrie County Extension & Outreach Office says forms must turned by this coming Monday, June 23rd.  The actual Clothing Event Day will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, from 1 to 4:30pm at the New Homestead Nursing Home in Guthrie Center.

There will also be a fashion show that evening at 7pm with participants from Share the Fun, a Guthrie County 4-H talent group.

Extension Office Summer Program Assistant Brenna Westergaard says area 4-Hers interested in participating in Clothing Event Day need only submit their name, age and an activity they’d like to be part of.  Attendees can choose from fashion revenue, clothing selection and a $15 challenge event.

There is no cost associated with participation in Clothing Event Day.
