The second annual Dino-Mite Bash will be offered later this month in Jefferson.
Last year, the Parks and Recreation Department put on a Dino-Mite Bash which consisted of kids learning about dinosaurs and participating in related crafts and games.
This year, director Vicky Lautner says they are doing the one-day program again for area youth ages three to six years old. Last year’s program had kids doing a dinosaur egg hunt and building stegosaurus hats.
She talks about this program being another great one that caters to a younger group of kids to give them something to do during the summer.
“Well this is young kids. And we try to, if you look into our programs, we try to hit a variety of the age groups, so we’ve got a little something for everybody.”
It will be on Wednesday, June 25th from 10-11:30am at the Greene County Community Center.
Space is limited and there’s a $5 fee. Call the rec center at 386-3412 to sign up.
