A deputy checked a littering concern on G Avenue between 250th and 260th Streets. Identification of the refuse was determined and a citation will be issued.
The animal control deputy responded to the 900 block of Grant Street in Scranton for a reported vicious dog call.
A deputy assisted the Department of Human Services with a residence check in the 100 block of Vine Street in Cooper. The deputy later located the female in question after a traffic stop and subsequently arrested Robin Giovanni Simmon, 39 of Elkader, Iowa, for an outstanding arrest warrant from Clayton County. Two children that were in the vehicle were taken into protective custody. Robin Simmon was also issued a citation for Driving while Suspended and booked into the Greene County Jail and is awaiting transport to Clayton County.
A deputy checked the report of a suspicious vehicle driving around the 700 block of Main Street in Scranton. The described vehicle was not located at that time.
A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of 9th South in Grand Junction for a reported suspicious person in a vehicle harassing and stalking the resident.
Tuesday, June 3rd
A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle on Quaker Avenue near 265th Street that had apparently experienced mechanical problems. The deputy placed a 24 hour removal tag upon the car.
A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer in trying to locate an overdue motorist.
In all case when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
