A schedule change in the order of Greene County’ JV/varsity baseball twin bill later today in Prairie City vs. PCM has the varsity teams playing first. Coach Mark Sawhill’s Rams will meet the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. with the JV game to begin after the varsity contest has been completed.

Both teams are 1-1 on the season and in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play. The Rams lost the season opening game to Saydel (Des Moines) 4-1, then upset Class 2A third ranked Roland-Story (Story City) by a 3-2 final. Both games were in Jefferson. PCM lost to Nevada before winning vs. Gilbert. This will be the first road game of the season for the Rams.
