Perry High SchoolTwenty Perry High School students will be headed to Kansas City this summer for the National SkillsUSA contest after doing well at the state competition earlier this month.

A total of 35 Perry students competed in twenty-two different contests May 1st and 2nd.

Perry students earned first place in the entrepreneurship, automotive service technology, motorcycle service technology, power equipment technology, job interview, preschool teaching assistant, diesel equipment technology, promotional bulletin board, residential wiring and quiz bowl contests.

Five students also placed second in their contests and another five earned third place in six different contests.

In addition, three seniors were recognized for leadership and accomplishments and sixteen Perry students received academic achievement awards.

The national contest takes place in Kansas City June 23rd through 27th.
