The Adel DeSoto Minurn Community School District Board of Education will hold their regular monthly Monday evening.

Items on the agenda include several public hearings.  The first is in regards to the 2013-2014 budget amendment, followed by another on measuring in-class time in by hours instead of days and a third in regards to the high school roof project.

The board will also approve the 2014-2015 calendar, approve a contract for the high school roof project, advertise for bids for the DeSoto Intermediate and Adel Elementary projects and set public hearings in regards to both of them.

Classified and administrative settlement packages will then be approved, the board will consider increasing the technology support technician contract and approve certified staff increases for physical education, technology and the high school assistant principal.

Audit services will then be approved along with an investment of the bond issue into a certificate of deposit, followed by discussion on early literary legislation, an update from the agriculture study committee, talk about the City of Adel Tax Abatement and discussion on transportation changes for the upcoming year.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the district board room.
