A memorial service for Merle Eberle, age 86, of Scranton will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Scranton. The family will greet friends at a reception following the service in the church fellowship hall.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton and online condolences may be left for the family at dahnandowoodhouse.com.

Merle is survived by three sisters: LuEtta Pleshek and her husband Harry of Mims, Florida, Phyllis Vollstedt of Manning, Iowa, and Gwen Register and her husband “Cash” of Mims, Florida; a brother Ronald Eberle and his wife Madge of Altoona, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
