Track and field athletes enduring cold and windy conditions in Guthrie Center on Thursday night at the Gonzales-Parrish Invitational. Panorama (Panora) won both teams titles in rather comfortable fashion.
The Panthers had 197 points to win the girls’ crown with Audubon a distant second at 110. IKM-Manning was third at 107 with Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton at 105, Guthrie Center 58, Adair-Casey 53, and 33 points for Paton-Churdan. Panorama won nine of the 19 girls’ events.
Panorama’s boys had 180 points with IKM-Manning next at 150, followed by 105 for Audubon, A-C 73, E/EHK 56, Glidden-Ralston 56, P-C 30 and the host Tigers 27. The Panthers won six of the 18 boys’ events.
