The Stuart Public Library is going to be busy in the days and weeks ahead.
From 10am to noon tomorrow, the Library is joining with the Stuart Aquatic Center to host a swim lessons sign-up session. Season passes for the town’s swimming pool will also be available to purchase.
Then a week from today, May 8th, a new knitting and crochet group is forming, and Library Director Sandy Pollard invites area residents to attend. Pollard says local residents are welcome to bring their latest projects to the library at 7pm next Thursday, and she also encourages residents interested in learning to knit or crochet to stop by.
There is no cost to join the group, which will convene once a month.
Pollard also says that the sign-up window for the library’s summer reading program is coming soon. Area youth are invited to visit the library June 5, 6 and 7 to register.
Anyone with questions about some of the latest happenings at the library can reach Pollard at 515-523-2152.
