Funeral Services for Herald “Lee” Murphy, 87, of Jefferson will be 10:30 am Saturday, May 3, 2014 at The Dwelling Place in Jefferson, IA.  Interment will be at Wright Cemetery, Greene County, Iowa.  Visitation will be after 11:00 am Friday, May 2, 2014 at The Dwelling Place in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.

He is survived by his children:  John Murphy of Jefferson, IA, Roseanne Costello of Jefferson, IA, Steve Murphy of Jefferson, IA, Jerry Murphy of Jefferson, IA, Michelle (Dale) Shriver of Ankeny, IA, and Andy (Judy) Murphy of Jefferson, IA; other relatives and many friends.
